Reading the report

The Overview, Issues, Pages, Speed, History and Site settings tabs.

When a crawl finishes, the report opens on the site page. The report has six tabs; the data is loaded once, and switching between tabs is instant.

#Overview

  • Health score (out of 100, with the change from the previous crawl) and how it is calculated.
  • URLs crawled, indexable pages, errors, warnings and average response time.
  • Status code distribution (2xx, 3xx, 4xx, 5xx, rate limited, no response), whether robots.txt exists and the number of sitemaps.
  • Top issues (the first five of the errors and warnings), a mobile speed summary and the change from the previous crawl.
  • If Claude's review was added to the crawl, a review card with the “why” and “how” explanations of the priority items.

#Issues

Findings are sorted by severity and the number of affected pages. There are three severity levels: Error (should be fixed), Warning (can be improved), Info (not urgent). Clicking a row opens the reason for the issue and sample URLs; the “See all” link filters all the pages that carry that issue in the Pages tab.

  • You can search by name or code, and filter by group and by severity.
  • Broken and redirecting internal links are grouped by target: “this target is linked from this many pages”. Those coming from the menu are marked separately (Menu / template detection).
  • Site-wide findings (those not tied to a single page, such as robots.txt, the sitemap and redirects) are listed in a separate card.
  • The name and explanation of every check are on the All checks page.

#If a finding looks wrong

Next to each finding (in the issue type, in the page details and in the site-wide findings) there is a small “Wrong?” link. If you think a finding is not correct for your site, click it, optionally write the reason and send it. We review the report; if there is a mistake in the tool, we fix the check. The report itself does not change; the fix appears in later crawls. In the free preview, only the findings shown in the report can be reported; you can send at most 30 reports a day.

#Pages

A table of every crawled URL: URL, status code, depth (how many clicks from the home page), number of inlinks, response time, title and number of findings. It can be sorted by column; you can search in the URL or title and filter by a specific issue. Clicking a row opens the page details: its findings, page information, its language versions (hreflang) if any, and the pages that link to that page.

#Speed

Google PageSpeed Insights measurements: the home page and 2 pages chosen from different templates, mobile and desktop. For each measurement, the performance score, LCP, CLS, TBT and server response time are shown. If Google has real-user data (LCP, INP, CLS), it is shown too; low-traffic sites may not have this data. Measurable opportunities (time that can be saved) are listed as well.

#History

All crawls of the site and the difference between two crawls: History and comparison.

#Site settings

Ownership verification (code, methods and status) and deleting the site.
