Frequently asked questions.
#Tokens and payment
#What is a token?
It is the unit you pay per crawl. The price is known before the scan starts: the page count is read from your sitemap for free; ≤500 pages 1 token, ≤2,000 pages 2 tokens, ≤5,000 pages 3 tokens, ≤10,000 pages 5 tokens, ≤25,000 pages 8 tokens, ≤50,000 pages 12 tokens (above 10,000 pages: verified sites only). If the site turns out smaller, the difference is refunded. Details: Tokens and pricing.
#What is the free preview?
Once you verify your e-mail you get a free preview of the first 100 pages of any site you choose: health score, issue types and sample URLs. The full list, page details and exports are in the full report. Every account gets one preview; at most one free preview is made for a domain, across all accounts. Details: Tokens and pricing.
#How much are the token packs?
1 token $5, 10 tokens $40, 30 tokens $99. Prices exclude tax and are shown in US dollars, or in Turkish lira for visitors in Turkey (the currency follows your location). Any applicable VAT or sales tax for your country is added at checkout, and the total is shown before you pay.
#Do tokens expire?
No, your token balance does not expire.
#What happens if a crawl fails?
If a crawl ends with an error, the tokens are refunded to your balance automatically. If the site turns out smaller than the estimated tier when the crawl finishes, the difference is also refunded automatically. If you cancel a crawl that is waiting in the queue, it is refunded too. If you cancel a running crawl, the result up to that point stays but the tokens are not refunded.
#Is there a subscription?
No. You buy tokens and spend them as you start crawls.
#Crawling
#Do I have to verify site ownership?
No. You can crawl any public site. On a site you have not verified, the crawl is more gentle (2 requests/sec, at most 10,000 pages); if you verify ownership with DNS, a meta tag or a file, 5 requests/sec and 50,000 pages are unlocked. Site verification
#How many pages are crawled?
You do not choose a page limit: the page count is read from the sitemap for free and the tier is set automatically (≤500 pages 1 token · ≤2,000 pages 2 tokens · ≤5,000 pages 3 tokens · ≤10,000 pages 5 tokens · ≤25,000 pages 8 tokens · ≤50,000 pages 12 tokens). No sitemap was found; up to 500 pages are scanned (1 token). On an unverified site the highest tier is 10,000 pages, on a verified site 50,000. Crawls that hit the limit are noted in the report; if the site turns out small, the difference is refunded.
#How long does a crawl take?
To be polite to the site, we crawl 2 pages per second on unverified sites; a 500-page site finishes in roughly 4–5 minutes, and it takes less time on verified sites. You can follow the progress in the dashboard and you get an e-mail when it finishes.
#Can I crawl the same site back to back?
The same domain can be in only one crawl at a time. You can also crawl an unverified domain at most 3 times in the last 24 hours (10 in total across all users); the owner of a verified site is not subject to this limit. No tokens are deducted for a crawl that does not start.
#I do not want my site to be crawled.
You can block the bot with robots.txt or have your domain removed from the list: Crawler bot.
#Report
#How do I give the report to an AI assistant?
Download the To-do list (.md) file from the Export menu and give it to your AI assistant: Fixing with AI.
#I fixed it; how do I see what changed?
Crawl the site again. The History tab shows what got fixed and what is new between two crawls.
#What if an issue in the report looks wrong?
Every finding is based on a measurement and a sample URL; you can open the page and compare it with the message of the finding. An error coming from the menu being counted as a single issue is expected behavior: Menu / template detection.
